F4 Breeding Group that makes medium to large sized (6-12oz) red or yellow beefsteak tomatoes on regular-leaf dwarf plants averaging about 2 feet in height.

This population comes from a single off-type I discovered in my 2022 batch of Pink Passion dwarf tomatoes. The plant looked pretty much the same as the others, but produced large pink beefsteak type fruits instead of the expected heart shape. When I grew out the seed from this individual the resulting plants made either red or yellow beefsteak tomatoes which was an unexpected bonus!

I set out to explore further, and grew out a set of plants from each fruit colour. All the yellow ones came back yellow, but the red ones came back with both red and yellow fruit. Plant sizes varied a fair bit, but most were about 24" tall with a few outliers on either side of that. The foliage is less feathery than Pink Passion, with wider leaves and a stockier, bushier frame. So far the red and yellow plants look essentially the same - I couldn't tell the red group had yellow tomatoes until they started to ripen.

In general, the flavour is similar to Pink Passion; medium sweet with a hint of acidity. The yellow fruits are a little more mild than the red ones, and there is some variation from plant to plant.  

The seed you will receive is a mix of all my selections on the 2024 crop. I haven't exactly decided where to go with these, so there's a fair bit of variety in there yet. My original idea was to search out big beefsteak fruits on a relatively small framed plant, and I did find a couple I liked in the F2. There were even more nice looking small plants this year, but some of the bigger plants looked really good too so I just saved seed from all of the plants that appealed to me and made notes on each one.
