This is one of the earliest and easiest watermelons out there, so it's a natural fit for short season gardens. If you struggle to grow a decent watermelon, this is the variety for you. Effortlessly produces 5-10 lb melons with dark green skin and super sweet red flesh. Excels in the heat, but is tolerant of cool weather. 

Bred by Glen Downs in northern Idaho.
