Compact 30" plants produce an abundance of 2-4oz round brick red fruits with metallic green stripes. Firm flesh, juicy with fairly big seed cavities, mild flavour. Very good disease resistance in our gardens. Plants are sturdy and hold themselves upright quite well.
Sarandipity is a Dwarf Tomato Project variety. Selected and named by Craig LeHoullier from the Streaky family, which originated from a cross created by Ray South between Black Zebra and a pink selection of the Cheeky family. Stabilization efforts were contributed by Ginny Bishton, Ginger Eisenberg, Paul Fish, Amanda Fischer, Jason Ford, Carol Knapp, Craig LeHoullier, Marla McClaren, Tessa Millesse, Patrina Nuske Small, and Susan Oliverson. Named after Craig's daughter Sara. Introduced in 2015 by the Victory Seed Company.
