Melon - Golden Honeymoon

Golden yellow when ripe, with classic green coloured flesh. This is a honeydew that will succeed on the prairies, and even does well in cool weather. It's an end-of-season melon for our region, but fortunately it's a long keeper so lends itself well to a late harvest and some time in the pantry afterward. For a head start and a better chance at success, start indoors about a month before you plan to set them out in the garden.
