Strela Green is a medieval heirloom that makes a large starburst rosette of long, crisp, sweet pointy leaves. Heat tolerant and super delicious. Doesn't seem to get bitter with lack of moisture. It matures into a large open head fairly quickly, and works great for a cut-and-come-again harvest if you take just the outside leaves.

Brought back in to circulation by Alan Kapuler and still somewhat hard to find, so we're helping to spread the word here north of the border.
