Compact 3-4 foot tall plants produce two to four small ears each, averaging 6". Kernels begin white and ripen to a deep steel blue. Nice rich sweet corn flavour. Best eating is when they are just turning blue, but I like them even when they've fully developed their colour. Matures early, so makes a good candidate for short season gardeners who want to save their own corn seed. I'm performing maintenance selections for larger cobs and straight rows of kernels.
